What to Expect Before Your First Visit

New Clients

Deposits & Scheduling

For some appointments, a deposit may be required when scheduling. Deposits are also required if an appointment has been missed or canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice (by Saturday at noon for Monday visits). These policies help us reserve time and resources for your pet and others who may need care.

Sharing your pet’s medical history ahead of time helps us be fully prepared for your visit!

Checking In

When you arrive, our team will review your pet’s medical history, discuss any current concerns, and update you on your pet’s overall health. Our goal is to make the visit as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet.

The Exam

Your veterinarian will perform a thorough nose-to-tail examination, review test results if needed, and answer any questions you have along the way. We encourage you to ask about anything — from nutrition to behavior to preventive care.

Wrap-Up

At the end of the visit, we’ll go over next steps, provide any medications or recommendations, and schedule follow-up appointments if needed. You’ll leave with a clear plan to keep your pet healthy and happy.
